Botanically Inspired Zentangle Art

July 8 (Wednesday) 7:00 – 8:30pm PDT
Cost: $5 USD for BBGS members / $15 USD for non-members

The Bellevue Botanical Garden presents an evening of relaxation and fun for the community. The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We will draw together by following step-by-step instructions.

Let’s learn how to make a botanically inspired Zentangle art drawing together! No previous drawing experience is needed. All ages and skill levels are welcomed. (This may not a class for experienced tangler looking for in-depth Zentangle classes.)

The images are examples of botanically inspired Zentangle drawings.

You will need:
– black pen (recommended: Sakura Micron 01 or PN)
– graphite pencil (B or 2B)
– tortillon, blending stump or q-tip
– white drawing paper cut into a 3.5″ ~ 4.5″ square
